Created by the Life is Good Playmakers, a 501c3 nonprofit with 30+ years of experience creating joyful learning environments for kids.
This classroom kit for grades K-5, was created to help kids and teachers activate the social and emotional traits (we call them Superpowers) that make life good in schools. As the creative lead on this project, it was my responsibility to design the box that holds all of these fun tools for the classroom. The goal was to create a duel purpose shipping box that not only holds the kit items, but is an inspiring piece that a teacher might put on display for their students.
The Life is Good Superpower Kit includes: 100 activities aligned with the 5 core competencies of social and emotional learning, a robust library of online resources, 11 classroom posters with classic Life is Good art and messages, collectible awards for kids, great swag, and lifetime access to the virtual Life is Good Superpower Academy for teachers.

Flip flops brought to you by two brands that love the beach as much as you do: Reef X Life is Good.
The lifestyle photography for this campaign was done by Reef and handed over to us to create our marketing assets.
The tagline for this collaboration was, “Seas the Day” and was launched with a scavenger hunt card for our influencers to share with their social communities. This card would allow those who “found” it to engage with us on Instagram and win a pair of the exclusive flip flops.
Other deliverables for this project included: wholesale signage, social media posts, and .com assets.

Hike, bike, run, roam— no matter how you choose to move, the first step always starts with you. And when you’re powered by optimism, you focus on the opportunities rather than the obstacles. What better way to meet your goals head-on?
This collection launched in 2020 as a completely new sector for the business. We wanted to give this collection a branded look and feel that reflected LiG brand DNA, but stood out to the consumer.
This was a full team effort from the art direction of the photoshoots, with the color pop backdrops, all the way to the language and storytelling of the new product’s features and benefits.
The Life is Good Active collection is designed with wicking fabric and anti-odor technology. Stay cool, dry, and fresh to fully enjoy the trail, gym or whatever moves you.
As the lead designer on this project, I was responsible for the wholesale signage, e-commerce experience, and social media campaign.

This is some of the grand opening signage for those stores.

Each Holiday Season, Life is Good does a 32 page direct mail piece. The theme for the 2021 season was our collaboration with our friends at Dr Seuss and the Grinch. One challenge with these mailers is that they tend to get very busy on account of LiG’s breath of graphics and product offering.
I worked alongside our photography and e-commerce teams on how we can best showcase the product in a clean way where all stakeholders felt pleased.
The doodles are apart of our season creative direction on account of our Grinch partnership. We wanted to give this piece the Dr Seuss feel, even when we were not showing Seuss product.
At the bottom you will see the Holiday Brand Guidelines that I built for the team to follow.
